Lazy D Red Angus is a registered and commerical cattle operation and farm located in North West North Dakota. Operated by John and Sara, daughter Emma, son Cody and his wife Madison and their son Coy.
The Berg family homesteaded in 1906. We continue on the family's farm and ranch legacy being the 5th, 6th generations. Along with the 7th generation in the up bringing. We are a diversified operation consisting of registered and commercial red angus cattle, raise various small grains, as well as background calves and sell farm to table beef.
John purchased some of our first registered females in 2012. We sold a few private treaty bulls for a couple years before hosting our first official private treaty sale in 2016 and have since transitioned to online auction. We strive for progress and improvement in our breeding program: We utilize natural breeding, AI and recently started embryo transfer.  
Our bulls and heifers are developed on a TMR diet to help promote proper growth and achieve full potential in preparation for breeding season. All bulls are kept at the ranch after the sale to finish developing prior to delivery. All bulls are fertility tested and guarnteed to breed prior to delivery.
